Preparation Tips for Holiday Lights Installations

​

Here's a quick checklist to keep your service smooth.

 

Before we arrive…

1.  Please make sure your lights are out and ready before our team arrives.

Having everything ready helps us stay on schedule and ensures we can complete your service without delays. If items aren’t out and we need to return, a $75 revisit fee may apply.

2.  Consider setting yourself a calendar reminder so you have those lights out and ready.  We do text and we know life can get busy so the more reminders the better:)

3.  Please pick up any dog poop from areas our team will be working in.  Poop on ladders causes slippery rungs, grumpy installers, and a serious dent in holiday cheer for everyone involved. 

Excessive poop in the yard may result in a $150 rescheduling/clean - up fee being charged.

4.  Please clear the driveway of vehicles and keep roof edges accessible.
 

5.  If possible- check that outdoor power outlets are ON and working. If you're not sure on this don't worry we'll get them tested from somewhere else before we leave. 
 

6.  Please clear any furniture, BBQs, planters, kids’ toys, décor, etc. so ladders can go up without a fight.

7.  If you’re unsure or can’t move heavier items, let us know and we’ll bring the extra muscle.

​

8.  Trim back any branches or vines blocking rooflines,  gutters and branches that intertwine on trees we are decorating.
 

9.  Remove any old lights, clips, or hardware from past seasons unless you’ve pre-arranged for us to handle it.

 

10. When storing you lights be sure to keep them somewhere dry (like in your garage or shed) and don't stack anything heavy on top of the lid.

We’ll do our best to work around obstacles, but we’re only human (and we like staying that way). If a spot isn’t safe or accessible, we may need to leave that section unlit.
